Developed by USAID funded Suaahara project, this guideline is intended to be used in coordination with Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) to conduct food demonstration sessions by Mothers' Group including all reproductive aged women from a ward. These Groups are formed by Family Health Division, Department of Health Services and their monthly meetings are conducted by FCHVs incorporating a range of health related topics. Every quarter of those meetings, locally available and nutritious foods are demonstrated by FCHVs with technical support from Suuhara Field Supervisor following this guideline.
